LAUNCHING OCTOBER · MCX MAINNET

The blockchain built
for everyone, not just ASICs

MicroCore combines mining, staking, a built-in DEX, and real rewards into one self-sustaining network — mine on the hardware you already own, from a PC to an Arduino Uno.

DEX Features
💧 Liquidity: Add or remove anytime, earn 60% of swap fees.
🔀 Aggregators: Routed through LI.FI + THORChain.
💳 Fiat On-Ramp: Credit card via Stripe, or BTC, ETH, USDC, DUCO.
Swap Fee: A flat 0.3%, paid in MCX.

Stake to unlock faster blocks

Higher stake levels mean shorter block times — and more frequent rewards.

Consensus Mechanism

PoMA — Proof of Mandatory Attendance

A consensus design that keeps miners honest, online, and accountable — in a strict 2.5 second window.

For every block, the network selects 10 miners who must each sign within a strict time window.

If even one of the 10 selected miners fails to sign in time, that miner is slashed 10% of their stake and the block is discarded — the 9 miners who signed on time split the slashed amount. Every selected miner also earns a small MCX reward simply for being online, making transactions secure while rewarding consistent participation.
Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an ASIC to mine MCX?
No. MicroCore is built to run on everyday devices — PC, phone, ESP32, Raspberry Pi Pico W, and even an Arduino Uno.
How does staking affect my block time?
Staking more MCX unlocks higher levels with faster block times — from 40 seconds at Level 1 down to 7 seconds at Level 10 — meaning more frequent reward opportunities.
What happens if a selected miner doesn't sign in time?
Under PoMA, a miner who misses the 2.5 second signing window gets 10% of their stake slashed. The block is discarded, and the slashed amount is split among the miners who did sign on time.
When does MicroCore launch?
The MCX mainnet, DEX, and staking levels are launching in October.
